Q. i have been watching them for years showing people "undertaking dangerously" but they never cause any accidents or anything. The act of undertaking implies that you are on a dual carrage way or motorway where these is a well defined 'fast' or overtaking lane. In the UK it is law that drivers overtake on the right. Undertaking is dangerous as drivers in the right lane are much less likley to see you 'coming up their inside' than if they overtake on the right. Also, in the UK, undertaking - especially on dual carrageways - is seen and viewed as very aggressive driving and leeds to a degree of road rage. Malaysians of Oriental descent have a habit of being the worst drivers on Earth, then Canadians, and most Americans in my own country. I live in an area around Atlanta that is "Diversified" with many nationalities. So we have every flavor of drivers.
