A. This is a wonderful poem. The meaning is obvious.It is saying through the mouths of the murdered Jews from Germany that there are still people in which think,act and are like Hitler. The "land of skeleton" is Germany.It truly is a amazing poem.Wonderfully crafted and breathtaking.

I have been to Poland many times...?
Q. I have been to Warsaw many times, and Krakow and Gdansk once. I would love to go to Poland this winter. Which city do you recommend the most in the month of December? Lublin? Wroclaw? Poznan? Lodz?Katowice? Torun? Or Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk again? Hi Duskrambler and Illyj, thanks for your comments. I hear Zakopane in Winter is nice. I like snow per se. But I do not skii nor do I like active sports. I am kind of a city person. I would love the dark cold city ambience of Poland. You know what I am saying...? Maybe I am kinda strange but I would like to walk alone sticking my hands in coat pocket on the dark cold cloudy day roaming around sad moody ambience of Warszawa or Krakow or Wroclaw... You know... A. Depends basically what you wanna do/like to do. In winter you could go to Zakopane, which is sometimes called "winter capital of Poland", actually it's pretty nice resort in the Tatra mountains. From the cities you mentioned I think that Wroclaw, Poznan or Torun would be bets choices, lots to see(monuments), also lots of things happening there, especially in Wroclaw. I've never been to Lodz, but heard good things about it. Less to see there compared to Wroclaw or Torun, more like fun in the clubs/bars. Being in your place I would definitely not go to Katowice, as for me it's rather ugly city, and not much really to do there. Lublin is nice, but rather smallish and not really much to do there.
