What is it about Atlantans that makes them so distinctive? Q. I'm writing a paper for school about Atlanta and it has to be very insightful. I need a total lowdown on what Atlantans are really all about. Asked by Yosu P - Tue Jul 1 13:27:30 2008 - - 10 Answers - 0 Comments A. I'm a transplant for New Jersey/New York, I've been in ATL for about 14years. I hate it. I find it to be culturally flat, limited and stagnant. The public transportation is deplorable and underfunded. Its nightlife is lack-luster. The type of people that like Atlanta are those whom are tired of the hustle of larger cities, or those whom have never been to a large city to begin with. (AL, MS, LA etc.) The appeal of Atl has been in the real estate industry and retail, which are one in the same. Too bad the cost of living has yet to have caught up to the demand of our new markets and commerce. I admire where this southern city is going, Atlanta has been given a face left in recent years, unfortunately the changes have only been superficial. Q. I want to raise my GPA up because of how bad I destroyed it at Georgia Southern. I want to take something in writing or English, so I need the classes to be transferable. I am planning to attend Georgia State University here in Atlanta, so they need to be transferable to that school in particular. I've been researching this for a while now and I'm totally lost. Please help. Asked by Chuck D - Thu Jan 22 13:01:11 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Georgia Tech, but by name only. You may be thinking more of a trade school.
